Psittavet a safe and effective treatment for Psittacosis/Ornithosis in cage and aviary birds

Vetafarm Psittavet is for the treatment of psittacosis/ornithosis (caused by chlamydia psittaci) and other susceptible bacterial diseases in caged and aviary birds and pigeons by drinking water medication.

Easy to use – In-water medication allows flock treatment without catching individual birds.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

RESTRAINTS: NOT TO BE USED for birds producing meat or eggs for human consumption.

Dosage and Administration:

25g jar scoop measures 1g, all other sizes measure 4g

PARROTS – Mix 4g in 400mL of drinking water.

PIGEONS – Mix 4g in 800mL of drinking water.

Administration: For Chlamydia infections. Treat birds for 45 days.

Remove all other drinking water supply and change medicated water daily.

For other susceptible infections: Treat birds for 7-10 days. Change water daily.

WITHOLDING PERIOD: NOT TO BE USED for birds producing meat or eggs for human consumption.

Storage

Store below 30°C in a dry, dark place. Psittavet solution is affected by severe heat and ultraviolet light. Keep in a cool, dark part of the aviary.
