Insects such as crickets, mealworms, cockroaches, and woodies are commonly fed in the diet of reptiles. Wild insects have a naturally diverse diet, however, insects bred commercially may lack important nutrients such as calcium and vitamins, due to a less diverse diet than those raised in their natural environment.

Gut loading insects is common practice to help increase the nutritional value of the insects fed to lizards, snakes, turtles, and frogs. Insect Food aims to replicate the natural diet of insects and by providing high levels of protein, along with the vitamins and minerals necessary for optimum nutrition. In addition to increasing the nutritional value of feeder insects, Insect Food also helps to increase the productivity of breeder colonies.
Insect Food is recommended as a complete diet for crickets, mealworms, woodies, cockroaches, and any other insects.

Extrusion cooking helps to improve the nutrient absorption and palatability of the product. Recommended for crickets, mealworms, woodies, cockroaches, and any other insects.

Provide Insect Food freely to insect colonies as the primary food source.

For mealworms, add approx. 1g (1 rounded scoop) of Insect Food per 100g of bran substrate.

Store below 30°C (room temperature), out of direct sunlight.
