Aves Psittamix is a special premixture for birds and cotains essential vitamins, minerals, folic acids and extra calcium for Parakeets and Parrots.
Seadmixtures for parakeets and parrots have a deficiency of vital important ingredients like lysine, arginine, riboflavin, calcium and available phosphorus and iodide. Vitamin B12 and D3 are not available in seeds, while the percentage of vitamin A, betacarotene and other B-vitamins fluctuate.

The water intake and the amount of eaten fruit and vegetables is dependent on bird species. Dosing nutrients through drinkwater does not make sense. If parakeets and parrots do not want to eat concentrated food the only solution is to supply Psittamix over the food that is eaten well. Be sure that birds eat this every day.Always keep fresh drinking water available.
